It only works if it’s affordable! The eTrucker Chip bundles all bilateral charging contracts on a single chip, enabling affordable direct prices without roaming surcharges. It can be conveniently attached to the vehicle key and is stored directly in the charging station operator’s backend; monthly billing continues to be sent directly to the freight forwarder. eTrucker products & use in fleet operations
How apps, managers and chips make your electric fleet more efficient.
Doesn't the eTrucker chip simply replace another charging card?
No. The eTrucker chip is not a mobility service provider (MSP) and we do not resell electricity. The chip acts as a key for bilateral charging agreements (BLV) between freight forwarders and charging station operators. All individual BLVs can be written to a single chip, reducing the number of charging cards. eTrucker itself is not a party to the agreement between the CPO and the freight forwarder.
The eTrucker app is free – why do I also need eTrucker Manager?
The basic functions of the app are free of charge. However, premium functions are required to actually drive and plan in everyday truck operations. These incur high operating costs on our part and are therefore only included in combination with the eTrucker Manager.
Will eTrucker replace my existing transport management software (TMS)?
No. eTrucker Manager is not TMS software, but rather a specialised add-on that enhances existing TMS with load planning, BLV management, map functions and real-time data.
How is the number of trucks determined?
The vehicles stored in eTrucker Manager are counted. Premium features can only be used on as many devices as there are vehicles assigned at the same time.
What is the contract term for eTrucker Manager?
The eTrucker Manager is offered as an annual subscription and can be cancelled at the end of the term. There is also the option of extending the contract term to 24 months. In this case, you will receive the eTrucker Manager free of charge for 4 months and if the fleet increases during the contract term, there will be no additional charges.
Can I test the eTrucker Manager?
Yes, we are currently offering trial access to gather feedback on our new features. Please contact us if you would like to participate.

Can I also use the eTrucker chip at public charging stations?
Yes – provided that the station is integrated into a bilateral charging agreement or the operator supports eTrucker chip authentication. We are continuously expanding the list of participating locations.
How do bilateral charging agreements (BLV) work?
BLVs are direct contracts between the freight forwarder and CPO, without an intermediary roaming layer. This makes prices more transparent and often cheaper. eTrucker provides the contacts and the technical platform through which these contracts can be digitally managed and used. The eTrucker chip starts the charging process. The charging station operator sends an invoice directly to the freight forwarder.
What happens if a driver loses their device or chip?
The chip must be deleted by each operator. eTrucker Manager handles this process for many charging station operators. The chip can easily be reported as lost. A replacement chip can be easily ordered in eTrucker Manager.

How up-to-date is the data in the eTrucker app?
Locations, charging capacities, occupancy and queue forecasts are updated in real time – sometimes every second. We work closely with operators and drivers to obtain truck-related data. Direct feedback from drivers is also very important to us and we value it enormously. Feedback can be sent via the app within seconds.
How do I integrate eTrucker into my existing dispatching system?
The eTrucker Manager can be used independently of the TMS, but offers interfaces for sharing routes, vehicle data and charging points. APIs for deep integrations (e.g. with Webfleet, Trimble, Fleetboard, etc.) are in the works.
Most of my eLKWs are used for local transport – how can eTrucker help me?
Electric trucks also benefit enormously from intelligent planning and real-time transparency in local transport. eTrucker helps you respond resiliently to operational challenges at any time. If a vehicle has not been fully charged overnight due to an operating or charging error, eTrucker quickly enables you to find a suitable external charging option. The same applies to unplanned delays such as traffic jams, increased energy consumption in winter or short-term customer requirements. This keeps your routes stable, flexible and economical – even over short distances.
